Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to all bookings with Bruny Boathouse and you. 

Please read these Terms carefully prior to booking. By booking directly with us, you agree that you have read and agreed to comply with these terms and conditions.

These terms may be updated at any time and will be posted on our website.

Fees

a) The entirety of the fees for your stay must be paid at the time of booking.

b) Payment must be made via bank transfer or any other method of payment as notified to you.

Cancellations

The following applies to all cancellations inclusive of any COVID19 related situations. We highly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

a) 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival or earlier.

c) For cancellations made with less than 14 days notice, no refunds will be issued.

Refunds

a) We do not offer refunds for no-shows, change of mind, or if you or any Guest does not stay at Bruny Boathouse for the entire stay period.

Checking in and out

a) Check-in time is 2:00pm

b) Check-out time is 10:00am

c) We may allow, at our sole discretion, allow for earlier check-in and later check-out times.

d) Guests must leave Bruny Boathouse in a clean and tidy state. If the property is not in a clean and tidy state upon departure, we may charge you an additional cleaning fee at our sole discretion.

Guests and visitors

a) The maximum number of guests is four and this number must not be exceeded at any time during your stay.

b) The full names of guests must be provided at the time of booking.

No pets

No pets are allowed on Bruny Boathouse at any time.

Your stay

a) We have lovingly furnished Bruny Boathouse and guests agree to look after all furnishings and items in Bruny Boathouse.

b) Please report any breakages of items to us as soon as possible. We may charge guests a fee for the replacement of such items.

c) Guests must not remove any furniture or other chattels from the property upon departure. If any such items are missing after departure, we may charge you a reasonable fee for the replacement of said items.

Commercial activities

No commercial activities of any kind (including, but not limited to, photoshoots and video shoots) are permitted at Bruny Boathouse unless our prior written consent has been obtained (which may be withheld in our absolute discretion).

Waiver of liability

Bruny Boathouse disclaims all liability for any loss or damage (including consequential loss) to all guests and their property during their stay at Bruny Boathouse.

Disclaimer 

 Bruny Boathouse is continuously monitored and updated to ensure the property is operating at a high standard. However, Bruny Island is an island off an island, which of course can present some challenges. Although we will do our best to make sure your stay is nothing but the best, sometimes things happen that are out of our control. We rely on you as the guest to report any issues to us and our property manager will be notified immediately.
